Feet First! - The History, Nature and Benefits of Reflexology !
Who: Amanda Williams
Amanda is a graduate of the Australian School of Reflexology and Relaxation. She is a member of the Reflexology Association of Australia and has completed Reiki 1 & 2 with Samata Samashti Dharma as well as being a Registered Practitioner in Bach Flower Essences, Thought Field Therapy and Raj Yogi. She is also a member of the Theosophical Society. Amanda has worked in the corporate sector at yoga retreats and major sporting events. .
The condition of the foot is a reflection of the status of the major body systems i.e. skin, musculoskeletal, secretory, nervous, and circulatory. Reflexology is using authentic anatomical knowledge in combination with skillful handwork, applying deep and light pressure over the complex nerve-ending network of the feet, and is a means of improving the physical and mental wellbeing of the person.
When: Monday 15th June 2009 at 7.45pm.
Where: At Balwyn Library 336 Whitehorse Road, Balwyn. Melway Reference Map 46 E8 (next to McDonalds). Entry via the side door.
Tickets $10.00 (Members $5.00)
