Nanotechnology - Engines of Creation
Who: David Galea, an Information Technologist and a Futurist. He has had a passion for making life simpler through the use of technology. Futurists seek to use technology intelligently to overcome genetic, biological, psychological, cultural, and neurological limits to the pursuit of life, liberty, and boundless achievement.
What: David will present a discussion and a short video to explain "What is Nanotechnology". Nanotechnology is the science of engineering atoms. Coal, diamonds, sand, computer chips, cancer and healthy tissue, these are variations in the arrangement of atoms. This technology is here today, in its very early stages, and for better or for worse, the greatest technological breakthrough in history is still to come.
