Who: David Galea ( a memebr of Astro) is an Information Technologist and Network Consultant, and has been onvolved in the expansion of the Internet since 1984.
What: The topic this month will be " The Internet".
He will present information about its beginnings, what it is today, and greifly outline its future. Some of the topics to be touched on will be;
As Astro Networks Victoria Inc will soon be moving its Internet presence to VicNet, we are open to any changes that our members my suggest. Also any services, enhancements and ish lists for the Astro Website will be welcomed.
Remember that 1,500,000,000 people use the internet, so, lets impress them, with a great presence, at our new home and invite them to participate and enrich our knowledge base.
