The Ekranoplan Craft.

What: The topic of this months meeting is titled "The Ekranoplan Craft".

Harry and Anatoli are partners in the Russian Australian Advanced Technology Group who's main focus is to promote, develop and grow joint Russian Australian projects involving advanced technology.

The Ekranoplan craft, a wing-in-ground effect (wig) craft, is one such technology.

Main points to be covered on the night will be;

• History of Ekranoplan project in Russia and its' military application.
• Associate Institute Support and Associated Technology Development.
• The variety of craft developed using air-cushion/wig principles.
• Application of the technology for use in coastal public transport.
• Craft certification, rules of the road, marine authority approval.

This presentation promises to be "information packed" with video and overheads.

Definitely not a night to be missed.
