Who: Ted Harvey, a backyard astronomer with many years of experience.
What: The topic of this months meeting is titled "Astronomy".
Ted originally became interested in astronomy as a child, when an Auroral display in the night sky frightened the "living daylights" out of him.
The presentations will be non-technical, and will cover such things as;
Ted will also be presenting color slides taken though his 14" Schmit-Cassegraine telescope of the moon and the stars, and a video of the surface of Venus taken by the Magellan spacecraft from NASA.
In Ted's words "ASTRONOMY IS LOOKING UP".
For all you star gazers in awe and wonder of our night sky, definitely a night not to be missed.
