Who: Rebeca Jones, a practitioner and teacher of bio-acoustics.
What: The topic of this months meeting is titled "Bio-Acoustics".
Sharry Edwards, a woman from Ohio USA, began exploring her unique vocal and hearing abilities 20 years ago. A life discipline called Bio-Acoustics has evolved from this exploration. Bio-Acoustics, literally meaning life sounds, is the study of sounds thought to eminate from all biological systems. Sharry and her research associates are assembling a body of work that is comprehesive and amazing in its scope.
Rebeca Jones has trained with Sharry Edwards in Ohio. Rebeca became interested in complementary medicine 15 years ago when she discovered that some long term health problems she had were caused by food and chemical allergies. She will be discussing various aspects of bio-acoustics including;
Interestingly, people witha full octave in the acoustic signature of their voice have been shown to be very healthy and well balanced.
